Speaking
I love to share my knowledge, insights and experiences with others. Next to teaching, I have given talks at various events, ranging from small workshops to larger conferences. I am always open for new opportunities to speak at events, schools or conferences so feel free to reach out if you are interested in having me as a speaker at your event.

Talks
Computers aan de macht? (nl) | Computers have the power?! (en)
Together with Manu De Buck, we explore the ideal balance between technology and society. What impact has technology already had, and was it good or bad? How do we determine what is good or bad? What does the future hold, and how can we engage with technology in a healthy way? The answer? It starts with you. Manu invites you to actively participate in the conversation and to form your own vision of the relationship between technology and society.
De archeoloog van de toekomst wordt een computernerd (nl) | The archaeologist of the future will be a computer nerd (en)
The archaeologist of the future will no longer toil in the dust but will be a data expert. Thanks to modern technologies such as AI and digital scanners, we are rapidly digitizing old documents and quickly sifting through large data collections. This offers the archaeologist of the future unique opportunities to uncover connections that were previously hidden.
De oorsprong en (r)evolutie van AI (nl) | The origin and (r)evolution of AI (en)
Artificial intelligence is less new than you might think. Where does it come from? What caused it to accelerate recently? And what will it mean in the future? What does the future hold, and how can we use AI in a healthy way to improve society?
